Sustainability in Fuel Industry
The production processes are still complex and expensive and the efficiencies in converting electricity into hydrogen or e-fuels are manageable. Electrolysis systems are intended to make the production of e-fuels cheaper and more efficient – especially in regions with lots of sun and wind. At the same time, new approaches are needed, for example for conversion or separation processes for the production of biofuels, e.g. based on waste or algae.
The industry includes, for example, the sustainable production of all types of fuel, specifically gas production and fuel production using green hydrogen or Power-to-X processes.
