However, the challenge lies in making rail journeys more sustainable, cheaper, faster, and more comfortable through innovation. New technologies such as magnetic levitation, hyperloop technology, and autonomous trains offer significant opportunities for transformation – hydrogen trains also provide an emission-free alternative on routes that are not yet electrified.
