Sharing score4more´s Sustainable Employee Benefits!
Sustainable employee benefits are both: an important lever in the transformation AND an important factor for generation Z in deciding where to work.
But what are Sustainable Employee Benefits and how can companies implement them?
We share our own experiences at score4more. As a sustainability startup, it is a must that employee benefits are sustainable too and we figure a solid combination of benefits supports internal as well as external impact. Here are the five pillars we looked at:
🚲 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
The trend clearly turns away from a company car towards flexible emission-free mobility options, such as a company bike or job ticket.
📋 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻
Pension plans are invested in sustainable finance products, where funds are more expensive than ETFs, but can also ensure that true sustainability criteria are met.
🥗 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀
Choose a startup office or hub with sustainable catering (organic and vegan) and provide free drinks based on tapped water or returnable bottles.
💚 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀
A partnership with a sports provider and access to sports and health offerings can be co-financed by the employer.
⚖️ 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸-𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲
Be it home office and remote work, child or elderly care support: social sustainability is based on getting support for combining family and work life.
At score4more we found a benefit card to be a universal instrument helping employees to flexibly choose sustainable options matching their individual needs, in our case we cooperate with GuudCard. The benefit card is charged tax-free by the employer and then can be used by the employee to book public transport, rent bikes, or pay sports club fees.
