Since 2008, the Stiftung Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis e.V. (DNP) has recognized leading companies for their sustainability efforts in Germany. In addition to the DNP for Companies , organizations can also participate in the DNP Products. This award highlights top solutions — products, services and systems — with a significant impact on sustainability across five transformation fields: climate, resources, nature, value chain and society.
You can easily participate in the DNP Products by submitting score4more solution profiles, which are part of your company profile. Create and/or update up to three solutions and enter the competition. You can find an overview of the award here and on the DNP website.

Participation
Companies of all sizes and industries with a legal entity in Germany can participate with products, services and/or systems offered in Germany.
Categories
High impact solutions - products, services and systems - are rewarded in five transformation fields: climate, resources, nature, value chain and society.
Application
Create up to three solutions profiles as part of your score4more company profile to participate. The solution profiles and an overview of the sustainability of the company (abstract) is assessed. Register and login with score4more to create your solutions.
Timeline
1. Competition Phase: create and edit solution profiles for the award between 01.03. and 15.06.2025
2. Assessment Phase: nominated solutions are assessed with award decisions until September
Jury
Nominations for the jury are prepared by the assessment partners and decisions on finalists and winners are voted by 20 jury members in five jurys by transformation fields.

DNP seal for nominated solutions, finalists and winners with which companies can communicate the success

Special event as part of the 18th German Sustainability Day on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the MARITIM Hotel Düsseldorf
Fees
Participation fees dependent on size: Companies up to 49 employees € 250, up to 250 employees € 550, over 250 employees € 950 per solution and year (plus VAT; 25% discount for multiple solutions; maximum 3 solutions; free of charge for the first 50 startups).

DNP Products and score4more
The award aims to encourage companies, independent designers, students and start-ups that offer products and services in Germany to act sustainably and help to better anchor the principles of sustainable development in public perception. It aims to prove that responsible action not only helps to solve social and environmental problems on a global or local scale, but can also increase profitability and competitiveness. The challenges of climate change, resource scarcity and species loss are intensifying. At the same time, the expertise of the sustainable economy in Germany is growing. Pioneers in all sectors have long been demonstrating which solutions work and how practical transformation can be achieved. Now it’s time to share your knowledge and experience with a wider audience. That is why the DNP Product awards “lighthouses” with impact and charisma that make special contributions to the sustainable transformation.

You can register for the DNP Products by following the steps below:
1. Register at https://app.score4more.eu/register-company or log in to your existing account at https://app.score4more.eu/login
2. Create your company profile after logging in or, if necessary, update your existing profile. For the DNP Product award, it is sufficient to edit in the company profile the “Summary” and a sustainability source, e.g. website or sustainability report. This is only taken into account in the preliminary research to ensure that only companies with a minimum level of sustainability participate in the award.
3. Click on “Create new solution” at the bottom of the profile and fill out the profile
4. Create multiple profiles. Finally select up to 3 profiles for the DNP Products award.
5. Click on “Submit” and pay the participation fee (according to the size of your company and the number of solution profiles submitted)

No, the two awards take place independently of each other. As a company, you can freely decide to participate in DNP Company or DNP Products or both.
No, the two awards take place independently of each other, in different categories and with different jury constellations.
Yes, even if you won the DNP Company award in your industry last year, you are still eligible for the DNP Products award. This also applies to winners in previous years.
A solution profile is a compilation of information about your sustainable solution, i.e. product, service or systems. The solution profile comprises the description of the sustainability problem, the solution approach and the impact achieved. You can create and manage solution profiles from your existing score4more account.
No, you can create and submit solution profiles from your existing company account. In the menu on the left side you will find the option “Solution profile”, where you will find the mentioned functionality.
Linking solution profiles to the company profile enables a holistic presentation of your company and your sustainability efforts. The company profile is only relevant in the preliminary research phase of the DNP Products award to ensure that only companies with a minimum level of sustainability are considered for the award. Only solutions, i.e. sustainable products and/or services, can be awarded.
Yes, creating solution profiles on score4more is free of charge. You are free to decide whether you would like to participate in the DNP Products award until you submit your application. Further application options for the solution profiles in other ecosystems will be activated on the score4more platform in the near future. However, there is a fee for participating in the DNP Products award, depending on the type and size of your company and the number of solutions submitted applying rebates. You will the fee overview above.
Under your company profile, you can create additional profiles for your “new solution” solutions. You can then enter information about your solution, i.e. a product or service, the sustainability problem, the solution approach and the impact achieved.
The participation fee for the DNP Products award is staggered according to company size (small, medium and large) and is rebated for multiple solutions submitted. Participation is free of charge for start-ups, students and young designers, among others.

You can submit your solutions in various categories of the DNP Products award. There are five categories along five transformation fields: climate, resources, nature, value chain and society. You can enter up to three transformation fields in order of relevance. Your solution will be default participate in the field which you have selected as highest impact field.
Yes, you can apply for the DNP Products award with up to three solutions – products, services or systems.
Yes, you can use your solution profile also to participate in other ecosystems on score4more, which you can select in your account.
If you would like to make changes to submitted and possibly paid solution(s) that should be taken into account for the DNP Products award, you can do so at any time before to the competition deadline. Changes made before the deadline will be taken into account for the DNP Products award. Changes after the deadline cannot be considered in the DNP Products.
Yes, you can delete a solution profile with the three-dots-menu in the solution title bar. If a solution is deleted on score4more, it will no longer be taken into account for the DNP Products award. Note that it is not possible to reimburse award fees, if a solution profile has been already submitted and is deleted then in a running competition.
The profiles on score4more are only visible to you and the score4more team, which analyzes the services described. As part of the cooperation with the German Sustainability Award, the information in the profile will be made available to the DNP in order to determine nominees, finalists and winners. In future, registered users will be able to control the visibility of their profile and decide for themselves whether they want to make their profile public or only share it with selected business partners, for example.
